Explanation:
Via this option the application informs CLIV2 of the method to be used to connect (logon) to the Teradata Database. 'R' indicates that CLI2 should send a 'Logon', then a 'RUN' as separate operations. 'C' indicates that CLI2 should, in a single operation, send a 'Connect' buffer which contains a logon followed by a connect parcel.
Notes:
The option must be: 'R' (logon then run). or 'C' (logon/run together)
