Teradata provides a UDF called GetQueryBandValue and an external stored procedure called GetQueryBandValueSP that use FNC_GetQueryBandValue to search the transaction, session, and/or profile name-value pairs in the query band and retrieve the value for a specified name. GetQueryBandValue and GetQueryBandValueSP are created in the SYSLIB database when you execute the DIPDEM script using the DIP utility.
