The LOGOFF command ends the current database user sessions without exiting BTEQ.
Executing a LOGOFF command does not reset the format settings to their default values. The next set of sessions that the user logs on inherits the previous format settings. To reset the format options to their default values, enter the DEFAULTS command before or after entering the next LOGON command.
