Output from SQL requests can be resubmitted as input. To do so, match the format parameters for the export and import files by specifying one of the following options for both export and import files:

System Type Options
Mainframe-attached DATA or INDICDATA
Workstation-attached DATA, INDICDATA or REPORT

When resubmitting data types, always resubmit fixed-length column data first, followed by variable-length column data.

Data that was exported in DIF format cannot be re-imported.
