Rerun the configuration script to change configuration values for the Appliance Backup Utility after the initial configuration. The values are used as the parameters for the Backup All option that backs up all DBC data. Therefore, to change the parameters for the Backup All option, rerun the configuration script.
  1. In a command-line window, change the directory to /opt/teradata/abu_service/service/bin.
  2. At the command line prompt, type ./configure. An options menu appears.
  3. Type configure plus one or more of the following options:
    Option Description
-au Updates the Teradata user logon information.
-cd Updates the destination paths. Use this option to specify an alternate destination path if a disk is full.
-ci Establishes the server startup file on this node and client startup file on all nodes.
-gi Updates the Graphical User Interface package and information.
-ss Updates the number of ARC sessions.
