Appliance Backup Utility repositories are automatically updated on all the Teradata Database nodes on which abu_service is configured. You should regularly copy the job repositories so that if files on the Teradata Database node are corrupted, you can use the job repositories to restore backed up images.
- On a Teradata Database node on which abu_service resides, go to /var/opt/teradata/abu_service/service.

Copy the job repositories to one of the following:
- Another server
- The target device
- Portable storage
- An off-site location
