In Business Intelligence Development Studio, you can add AsterExport, AsterLoader, and AsterODBC connection managers via the Connection Managers panel, as described in this section.
You can also add connection managers using the Aster Export Source Editor (Configuring Aster Export Source Editor Settings) and the Aster Loader Destination Editor.
To add a connection manager via the Connection Managers panel:

Right-click inside the Connection Manager panel and choose New Connection from the drop-down menu.

In the Add SSIS Connection Manager window, choose the type of connection manager to add:
- AsterExport
- AsterLoader
- AsterODBC.
- To add an AsterExport connection manager, select AsterExport and click OK. Then, to configure the manager, see Configuring Aster Export Connection Manager Settings.
- To add an AsterLoader connection manager, select AsterLoader and click OK. Then, to configure the manager, see Configuring Aster Loader Connection Manager Settings.
- To add an AsterODBC connection manager, select AsterODBC and click OK. Then, to configure the manager, see Configuring Aster ODBC Connection Manager Settings.
