Aster ODBC on OSX supports either iODBC Driver Manager or unixODBC driver manager. The driver manager allows ODBC applications to use the correct driver (in this case, the Aster Database ODBC driver) to connect to Aster Database.
For iODBC driver manager: On Mac OS, you have the option of using the iODBC driver manager, version 3.52.10 instead of unixODBC driver manager. This driver and its documentation are available from http://www.iodbc.org
