Usage Notes

Parcel Data

The content of the MultipartRequest parcel is as follows.

Parcel Body Length

Parcel Body Fields

1 to maximum body size

ReqText is one or more SQL statements, each separated by a semicolon, the last ending with an optional semicolon. The characters are in the current session character set.

If the DBCAREA option Request-mode=B was specified and a request is being built that is similar to what CLIv2 builds, either the FMReq, IndicReq, MultipartRequest, or Req parcel must immediately follow any Options parcel. If no Options parcel exists, one of these must be the first parcel. Whether the MultipartRequest parcel is supported by the Database can be ascertained using the CLIv2 DBCHQE Large-object-support query.
