TRDXXMSG appears once for each message; it defines the message number and message text. The relevant syntax is:

TRDXXMSG number,'text'

where number is the numeric message number, and text is the actual message text, enclosed in apostrophes.

For use with CICS, each message definition module must be defined in the PPT or CSD, as appropriate. The TRD0LENU entries in the DFHPPTT4 and DFHCSDTD samples serve as a guides for the proper specification.
