Purpose
This book provides information about Teradata System Emulation Tool (SET), which is a Teradata® Tools and Utilities product. Teradata Tools and Utilities is a group of products designed to work with Teradata Database.
Teradata SET imitates (emulates) the Optimizer-generated data from a target system, generates query plans, and then imports that information to a test system where queries can be run without impacting the production system.
