Collectives - IntelliFlex Platforms

• In a system, cabinets in the Server Management network are organized into one or more collectives.
• A collective contains one or more cabinets sharing one CMIC VM hosted by a VMS. A CMIC provides Server Management services for a collective, with one or more cabinets per collective.
• IntelliFlex, BYNET InfiniBand, and 9400 cabinets can be configured with or without a CMIC VM hosted by a VMS.
• Each collective in the system has a unique collective ID.
• Each cabinet in the system has a unique cabinet ID.
