Server Management software runs on each CMIC in the system. The CMIC hosts the SMWeb home page and provides applications and services for Server Management.
Server Management can be configured for a single-system or multi-system configurations. The primary and secondary Server Management networks are connected to the other systems in the multi-system configuration in one Server Management domain.
Access to the SMWeb home page is through the customer LAN or the Server Management LAN. The Server Management LAN is a connection between the CMICs and the chassis being monitored.
Teradata Customer Support uses the SWS for service operations. The level of service depends on the service agreements.
