IntelliFlex supports up to 86 cabinets using a daisy-chain topology for Server Management connections.
Server Management Network Example for 22 Cabinets

  • This configuration example could be expanded to additional cabinets by connecting the cabinets to the Server Management switches in cabinets 7 through 22.
  • Each cabinet shown represents a collective. The collective may include 9400 cabinets (not shown).
  • Separate primary and secondary paths make sure network redundancy.
  • If the system is included in a UDA environment, ports are reserved on the primary and secondary Server Management switches for UDA connections to the other system or systems in the UDA environment.
