Specifying the Log Directory Value

You can specify the log directory for Teradata PT-generated logs in the following ways:

1 Specify the -L jobLogDirectory in the tbuild or tload command (recommended).

2 Set the LogDirectory parameter in twbcfg.ini file.

Note: If -L jobLogDirectory is used on the command line and the LogDirectory parameter is set in twbcfg.ini file, the value specified via -L jobLogDirectory is used.

If you do not specify or set the Log Directory value in either of the two ways listed above, logs are saved in the following default locations on UNIX and on Windows respectively: TPT_install_directory/logs.
