Directory configuration for a bindable object for the service is identical on Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition and OpenLDAP, because both support the simple securityObject class of directory objects.

Use the following example to configure a bindable directory object:

dn: cn=dataone,cn=tdat,ou=production,dc=division,dc=company,dc=com
objectClass: top
objectClass: tdatSystem
objectClass: simpleSecurityObject
cn: dataone
userPassword: password
The directory configuration requires only the DN and user password for the object. The objectClass information can be in any form that accurately represents a bindable object.
