  1. Stop the Tomcat server.
  2. If upgrading from release 5.3.1 or earlier, first update the Model Manager metadata database on a Teradata server by running the modelmanager_meta_update_05_03_02_00.sql script using a Teradata client application such as Teradata Administrator or Teradata SQL Assistant.
  3. Replace modelmanager.war under the CATALINA_HOME/webapps directory with the new modelmanager.war. Keep the old version of modelmanager.war in case you need to revert.
  4. Remove the CATALINA_HOME/webapps/modelmanager directory if it exists. The directory is created again by the new modelmanager.war file when the server is started.
  5. Start the Tomcat server.
