Use the Abort Job command to terminate any job with an Executing status. For example, abort a job because the job is tying up Teradata Database resources.

1 From from the Scheduled Requests list of the Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator, select a job with an Executing status.

2 Do one of the following:

  • Click Options > Abort Job.
  • Right-click the job to display a shortcut menu and click Abort Job.
  • A Teradata Query Scheduler dialog box appears asking for confirmation.

3 Click Yes to confirm the deletion and close the dialog box.
