Use the Workgroups dialog box (Figure 10) to create a new workgroup or manage existing workgroups.

  • To open this dialog box, go to the Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator, and click Configuration>Workgroups.

    • If logged on to Teradata QS in View Mode, the Workgroups dialog box opens, but no changes can be made. In View-Only mode, use the View button to view workgroups.

    Option

    Description

    Workgroup Names

    Shows the names of the existing scheduled requests execution workgroups.

    Note: These are case sensitive.

    New

    Creates a new workgroup in the Workgroup Properties dialog box.

    Delete

    Deletes the selected workgroup.

    Edit

    Opens the selected workgroup for editing in the Edit Workgroup dialog box.

    View

    View information about selected workgroups. Available only in View Mode.

    Close

    Closes the Workgroup dialog box.
