In the table below, the Base Number of Nodes column refers to the number of nodes (x) you originally deployed using the solution template before any scaling out. You can scale out or scale back in to any number of nodes in the same row as the base number.
For example, if you originally deployed 8 nodes, you can scale out to 10, 11, 13, 16, 22, or 32. If you scale out from 8 to 16 nodes, you can do either of the following:
- Scale out again to 22 or 32 nodes.
- Scale in to 13, 11, 10, or back to the original 8 nodes.
Scaling out is available for base node counts up to 32.
