If you are deploying Vantage with other Teradata products on Azure, we recommend deploying a software ecosystem from an Azure solution template, which automates many configuration tasks. Alternatively, you can deploy some Teradata products separately. Deploying software from an image is referred to as deploying a VM offer.
Before deploying a VM offer, you can deploy Vantage using an ecosystem solution template, which creates a new VM subnet and BYNET subnets in a new VNet. If you plan to use Vantage with products deployed as a VM offer, you will select the VNet and VM subnets that were created when the database was deployed instead of creating new ones. If you are using VNet peering, you can create a new virtual network and new subnets.
