Required Files for Windows Platforms

Default Installation Directories

On 32-bit Windows, the default installation directory for the files listed in this section is:

%ProgramFiles%\Teradata\ Client\<release_number>\cliv2

On 64-bit Windows, the default installation directory for 32-bit files is:

%ProgramFilesx86%\Teradata\ Client\<release_number>\cliv2

On 64-bit Windows, the default installation directory for 64-bit files is:

%ProgramFiles%\Teradata\ Client\<release_number>\cliv2

Note: 32-bit Windows CLI libraries are not supported on IA64 processors.

Localisation.dll

This file is used to generate the CLI messages. It is the equivalent to the UNIX file errmsg.cat.

tdusr32.dll

This is the equivalent to the UNIX library libtdusr.

terasso.dll

This CLI library supports session logins utilizing Single Sign-On.

wincli32.dll

This is the equivalent to the UNIX library libcliv2. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of this dll exist.
