Communicating with Teradata Database
Information flow between an application and Teradata Database is as follows:
The application sends requests containing Teradata SQL statements and data to Teradata
Database.
Teradata Database performs the activities requested by the application, such as selecting,
updating, inserting, and deleting data, and returns response information to the application.
