Change Data Multicast (CDM) enhances Unity’s ability to support stored procedures. Unity uses CDM to run all stored procedure calls on one system first, and then replicate each SQL statement inside the stored procedure to the other participating systems. Unity evaluates each of these SQL statements and replicates using either SQL Multicast or Change Data Multicast.

If you do not want to use CDM to replicate changes from stored procedure or user defined function (UDF) calls, and instead use Unity’s SQL multicast you can change the output type for each object. In object details, you can override the deterministic output type.
