Changing the Size of the Input Area

The original size of the input area is three lines. If you expect normally to be entering Teradata SQL statements that are longer than three lines, you can increase the size of the input area.

The size of the input area is changed using the SET INPUTAREA SIZE command. For example, to increase the size of the input area to five lines, key the following command in the input area and press Enter:

SET INPUTAREA SIZE 5;
