The Teradata DSC can be used in the public cloud with AWS and Azure. If you are only working in the cloud, nothing else needs to be installed, just follow the rest of the instructions in this section.
If you want to back up to the cloud from an on-premises system, you need to install either the AXMS3 or AXMAzure packages. See Teradata® DSA - DSU Installation, Configuration, and Upgrade Guide, B035-3153.
