Error Format

Causes of Errors

Errors generated by the provider usually occur when:

Objects are not created in the correct order.

Invalid data is passed in as parameters.

The provider detects an internal problem.

If there is no custom error object associated with the error record, or if the custom error object does not have a native error code, then the error is a provider error.

The message text retrieved using the IErrorInfo interface further describes the error.
