Select rules or Select data sources are used to read or calculate values based on data sources which can then be mapped into workflow-level variables or customer list-level variables. Since a variable can only contain a single value, note that only the first row of the underlying query will be returned to the output parameters when the rule or data source is executed.

From Map and Calculate, do any of the following to create output parameters:
Option Action Identify a source column in the output table - Click in Select a field and select a source column.

To use a source column more than one time in an output table, map the second use of the source column as a formula and give it a unique alias.

- Select a Type.
- In the Formula Builder, select the Fields, Functions, or Variables tabs and select options to create a formula.
- Select Save and Close.
- Select

- Hover over a Rule Variable or Data Source Variable , then select .
- Select Yes.
