On Windows, if you have the MDS Suite 14.10 or later installed, the Windows installer will automatically uninstall the existing version during installation.
On Linux, or Windows with MDS 14.00 or earlier installed, you must first uninstall the existing MDS version.
- Close all MDS applications.
- Open the Add/Remove Programs applet.Tip: To open the applet, open a command prompt and type APPWIZ.CPL.
- Select the Teradata Meta Data Services program, then click Remove/Uninstall to remove it.
- Answer any prompts that appear, then click Finish in the Complete window.
