Use the Teradata MultiLoad FIELD command to change the data type specification of source data before inserting it in the Teradata MultiLoad table on the database. Teradata MultiLoad cannot be used to define a column with an arithmetic expression. For example, Teradata MultiLoad will not calculate a monthly salary column from yearly salary data.
