Service Availability 24 x 7 availability service-level agreement (SLA of 99.9%) for the Advanced SQL Engine, measured and tracked monthly
The availability SLA of 99.9% is not applicable to a disaster recovery event where the cloud provider availability zone or region is impacted. If Vantage is deployed in a cloud provider region that has multiple availability zones, Teradata will use reasonable efforts to deploy a new system in a secondary, unimpacted availability zone and restore from an existing backup to the secondary, unimpacted availability zone as part of our service. If Vantage is deployed in a cloud provider region that does not have multiple availability zones, Teradata will use reasonable efforts to deploy a new system in the paired cloud provider region and restore from an existing backup to the paired region as part of our service.
