If you install Kerberos in a location other than the standard /usr/lib64, you must also update the TdgssUserConfigFile.xml, as shown in the procedure that follows, after you install Kerberos to the alternate location. This procedure is required on each Teradata Database system, and on each Unity server (if used), so the configuration file can access the Kerberos library libgssapi_krb5.so.

Teradata recommends that you complete all Kerberos setup tasks required on Teradata Database nodes and on the Unity server, if used, before you do any other edits to KRB5 mechanism properties.
