Unity locks the User Mappings view while you edit.

  1. In the Unity Setup portlet, click the Session Routing tab.
  2. Click the User Mappings tab.
  3. Click .
  4. Select the name of a user mapping.
  5. In the Edit User Mappings view, update one or more of the following fields.
    Field Description
    Evaluation Order Modify the ordered ranking of this user mapping in the User Mappings list.
    User Modify the username (userid). The user-string can be a complete string (user) or include one or more wildcard (*) characters.
    Account Modify the account string value. The account string can consist of alpha-numeric and wildcard (*) characters.
    Role Modify the user role for this mapping. The role is an LDAP or Kerberos value and can be a complete string (for example, crmusers) or a wildcard (*) character to include multiple roles.
    Profile Modify the name of the profile associated with the user in the previous step.
    Region Select one of these options from the list:
    • Active — Selects the region in the Active state
    • Any Region (*) — Selects any region available for this user mapping. Equivalent to use of the wildcard asterisk (*)
    Routing Rule Modify the routing rule by selecting a different routing rule name from the list.
    If you do not find a rule you want to select, save your changes, and in the User Mappings view, click Routing Rule. Create a new rule. You can now edit this user mapping again and specify the new rule.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Click Deploy to deploy edits to the user mapping.
