Purpose

.DEBUG TRACE UNICODE;

The .DEBUG TRACE UNICODE; command, which is for developer use only, traces the MultiLoad buffers/requests content when the session character set is UTF‑16 on network platforms and UTF‑8 on mainframe platforms.
