If Run Pointer is zero, DBCHCL will use Teradata SQL as the default value.

The application program may specify the value of Run Pointer. To do so, the program must build a run string or a Connect parcel body and set Run Pointer to the address of the run string for the Run parcel or the address of the connect parcel body before calling DBCHCL for the Connect function. Teradata SQL is an allowed value. Run string is not case sensitive.

Run Pointer is the address of the beginning of the run string.
