Transforms-off

Usage Notes

Transforms-off is a one byte ASCII field that indicates whether SQL Structured User Defined Types (UDTs) are transformed into their external data type or left as their constituent attributes.

Possible value that can be set in this DBCAREA field is 'Y' and 'N'.

'N' – the value of 'N' indicates that the flag is off and Structured UDTs are transformed into their external type.

'Y' – the value of 'Y' indicates that the flag is on and Structured UDTs are to be returned from the server in the un-translated mode.
