TDP2208 "cpname" UNUSABLE -- CLIENT PROTOCOL-VIOLATION

Explanation:

Use of the CP is ended because the Teradata Database reports that TDP has violated the communication protocol.

Generated By:

TDP.

Notes:

If START processing has not yet completed, the START will fail, otherwise, the CP enters the PERM ERR state and will not be used further. Any requests that are active on the CP will be failed and the associated sessions will be logged off. Sessions without active requests or with requests active on other CPs are unaffected.

Remedy:

Subsequent use of the CP may be attempted by first issuing the TDP STOP CPxxxx command (necessary only if the CP is in the PERM ERR state), then the TDP START CPxxxx command. Contact Customer Support personnel for assistance in resolving the problem.
