The Fabric Overview displays a graphical representation of the fabrics in the QueryGrid portlet. For each fabric, the overview shows the fabric name, fabric components, component names, and information about the health of the components.

Item Description
Fabric Name The fabric name is displayed in the upper left corner of the overview.
Data Center and Data Center Name The systems, connectors, and links in the data center are bounded by a circle. The data center name is displayed outside the circumference of the circle.
Systems and System Names Systems are displayed within the circle of the data center. The system name is displayed next to the system icon.
Icon State
"" System status is normal.
"" System has one or more issues resulting in a warning or warnings.
"" System has a critical issue or issues.
Connectors and Connector Names Connectors are displayed as semi-circles within the circle of the data center, next to the system they are associated with. The connector name is displayed next to the connector icon.
Within the semi-circle of the icon:
  • The filled circle represents the initiating connector.
  • The unfilled circle represents the target connector.
Icon State
"" Connector status is normal.
"" Connector has one or more issues resulting in a warning or warnings.
"" Connector has one or more critical issues, and may also have one or more issues resulting in a warning or warnings.
Links Directional arrows ("") show the data transfer path between initiating connectors and target connectors of systems within the data center.
  • For an initiating connector, the arrow starts at the filled circle and points to the unfilled circle representing the target connector.
  • For a target connector, the arrow starts at the unfilled circle and points to the filled circle representing the initiating connector.
