Changing the publicAddress, clusterAddress, and bindAddress defaults is optional. You can change the default clusterAddress before or after clustering.

You can set or modify each of these values independently in /etc/opt/teradata/tdqgm/server.properties.

  1. Log on to the Teradata QueryGrid Manager TMS, VM, or server.
  2. Open the /etc/opt/teradata/tdqgm/server.properties file.
You must have write permission to the files in /etc/opt/teradata/tdqgm.
  3. Edit the publicAddress, bindAddress, and clusterAddress properties and save the file.
  4. At the command line, restart Teradata QueryGrid Manager by typing the following. service tdqgm restart
If there are problems, review the /opt/teradata/tdqgm/logs/tdqgm-boot.log log file, fix all identified problems, and restart Teradata QueryGrid Manager.
