After Terminating a Teradata MultiLoad Job

After terminating a Teradata MultiLoad job, either:

  • Restart the job and allow it to run to completion.
  • or

  • Reinitialize and restore access to the target tables.
  • The conditions and procedures for performing these tasks depend on whether the job terminated during the application phase and whether to restart and continue or abandon the job.

  • If the Teradata MultiLoad job terminated before or after the application phase, then to restart and continue the job, use the After a Job Abort or Client System Failure procedure in “Restarting a Paused Teradata MultiLoad Job” on page 43.
  • If the Teradata MultiLoad job terminated during the application phase, then restart the job and let it run to completion. Use the After a Job Abort or Client System Failure procedure in “Restarting a Paused Teradata MultiLoad Job” on page 43.
