Set the maximum jobs per client attribute as a global NetBackup attribute.
To calculate the attribute, multiply the number of streams by the number of policies, where:
- The number of streams are the backup streams between the database server and NetBackup. Each stream starts a new backup job on the client.
- The number of policies is the number of policies that can back up this client at the same time. For example, a client might be in two policies in order to back up two different databases. These backup windows might overlap.
The maximum jobs per client value should equal the maximum number of backup jobs allowed per client. If it is not possible to do this calculation, enter 99.
