The TPT_install_directory is TTU_install_directory/tbuild. See User Selectable Install Location for more information.
After the Teradata Parallel Transporter Base package is installed, the configuration file, TPT_install_directory/twbcfg.ini can be edited to change the default directory for checkpoint and logs.
  1. Log on as the root user.
  2. Use a text editor to edit the configuration file to change the checkpoint or logs directory.
For example, if the logs directory is full, then you should change the logs directory to another directory with free disk space.
No kernel rebuild or reboot is required after making the changes in the configuration file.
