Authentication Parameter
The values for an authentication parameter can be supplied in the following locations:
- DSN
- Connection string
- Dialog box
These values should be in the character set specified by the Windows application code page setting on Windows, the ODBC application code page setting on a UNIX system, or the locale setting (LC_TYPE) on Apple macOS.
