You can convert a saved job to a static job.
Important: Do not use this option unless you must change the Teradata ARC script from dynamic to static. If you convert the Teradata ARC script to static, Data Mover uses the saved Teradata ARC script to copy data in the job every time the job runs. Because Data Mover no longer generates a dynamic and optimized plan to copy the data at runtime, use extreme care when converting the Teradata ARC script to static.
- Click
next to a job. - Click Preview.
- Click View Steps.
- Click View Details next to the step that contains the Teradata ARC task to be converted.The Job Step Details view appears. The name of the job and database display at the top of the view.
- Click Convert to static.A message appears asking if you are sure you want to convert this to a static job.
- Click Edit to edit the archive script.
- Click Save.
- Do one of the following:
