In a single-system configuration, server management monitors and manages a single Hadoop cluster. The minimum configuration of a Hadoop cluster consists of three Master Nodes for Hadoop and three Data Nodes for Hadoop. The cluster has a unique system name. All the nodes in the cluster must share a common Server Management Domain and a common Site ID configured in server management.
