  1. You can restart the services in active mode by doing the following:
    Option Instruction
    active mode Log on to the daemon server that needs to be set as active and run the following command:

    dmcluster setmaster

    The daemon, REST, ActiveMQ, and DSC if using the local DSC are started on the server where dmcluster setmaster is run. The agents and sync service associated with the active daemon are started in active mode. All services on the remote site are shut down and the sync service on the remote site is restarted in standby mode.

    You can use the setmaster command any number of times, on either of the daemon servers, without having to modify the failover.properties file on the server.
