You can configure multiple job status alerts using the BAR Setup portlet.
  1. From the DSC Servers list, select your DSC server.
  2. From the Categories list, click Alerts.
  3. From the Alert Types list, click Job Status.
  4. In the Alerts list, do one of the following:
    • To add an alert, click next to Alerts.
    • To configure an existing alert, select the alert in the list.

      When disabled, appears next to the alert.

    • To delete an alert, click next to the alert.
  5. Under Alert Details enter the following:
    1. If you are creating an alert, add a name to Alert Name.
    2. Select or clear the Enable alert checkbox.
    3. From the Severity list, select an alert severity.
  6. Under Alert Rules create an alert equation:
    1. Next to Job name, select a condition (for example, is equal to) from the menu and enter the job name.
    2. From the Job status is list select a job status, such as aborting.
  7. Under Alert Action configure the alert action:
    1. From the Action list, select an action. To appear in the Action list, you must activate the action using the Alert Setup portlet.
    2. Specify a time in the Do not run twice in __ minutes box.
    3. In the Message box, type the message to be sent when the alert criteria are met.
  8. Click Apply.
