  1. From the Saved Jobs view, click New Job.
  2. On the New Job screen:
    1. Select Backup as the job type.
    2. [Optional] To migrate objects from an existing ARC or TARA script, click Browse and select the script.
    3. Click OK.
  3. On the New Backup Job screen:
    1. Enter a unique Job Name.
    2. Select a Source System.
    3. In Enter System Credentials, enter a user name and password for the system.

      Account String information is not required.

      The password is applied to all jobs associated with this system and user account.
    4. Select a Target Group.
    5. [Optional] Enter a job description.
  4. Select the Objects tab.
  5. Select the objects from the source system to backup.
  6. [Optional] To verify the parent and objects selected, click the Selection Summary tab.
    Size information is not available for DBC only backup jobs. N/A displays as the size value for DBC only backup jobs.
  7. [Optional] To adjust job settings for the job, click the Job Settings tab.
  8. Click Save. The newly created backup job is listed in the Saved Jobs view.
  9. To run the backup job:
    1. Click next to a job.
    2. Select Run.
    3. Select Full, Delta, or Cumulative backup type.
    4. Select Run.
