Replacing Your Expired Password
Follow this procedure to replace an expired password.
1 Enter the new password at the prompt, for example:
Enter new password: password
Note: The system does not display the password as it is being entered.
2 Reenter the new password to validate it.
If both entries are identical, and the logon is successful, BTEQ displays:
* * * Logon successfully completed.
* * * Total elapsed time was 1 minutes and 13 seconds
If both entries are not identical, BTEQ displays the following message and repeats the prompt for a new password:
Password not matched, please try again!
