BTEQWIN Main Window

When BTEQWIN is first started, it prompts you for the session charset to use, as shown in the following figure.

Only the four most-used character sets are supported. BTEQWIN does not support other charsets because the Unicode® character sets can display the characters of most modern languages.

The BTEQWIN user interface consists of a standard application window, as shown in Figure 6.

The following functions can be performed from the BTEQWIN Main Window:

Statements can be specified interactively, a statement at a time, or in batch mode using macros.

All input and output is displayed in the window. The command line, identified by a blinking cursor, is always the line that follows the last command prompt.
